On 17 April 2014, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from GEITS Pty Ltd for an individual electricity exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law. Submissions closed on 26 May 2014.
On 27 June 2014, the AER granted an individual exemption for Geits ANZ for electricity.
Change of registered business name
On 28 July 2014, the AER was advised that the legal name had been changed to Infratech Industries Pty Ltd.
