On 14 April 2014, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Infinity Solar for an individual electricity exemption from the requirement to hold a retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law. Submissions on Infinity Solar's application for an individual exemption closed on 23 May 2014.
On 27 June 2014, the AER granted an individual exemption for Infinity Solar for electricity.
