On 21 February 2014, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) granted an individual exemption to SEL Absolute Return Fund SA, trading as Solar Wholesalers, from the requirement to obtain an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law.
On 14 July 2014 the AER proposed to vary the conditions of SEL Absolute Return Fund SA's exemption. Submissions closed Friday 15 August 2014. No submissions were received. On 14 January 2015 the AER varied SEL Absolute Return Fund SA's exemption conditions to include a new condition.
