On 08 January 2013, the AER accepted Infigen Energy Holdings Pty Ltd's (IEH) application for electricity retailer authorisation.
IEH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Infigen Energy Limited (Infigen), which is a specialist renewable energy business that develops, builds, owns and operates wind and solar farms across Australia. Infigen intend to expand their business through IEH and retail electricity to large customers only.
Invitation for submissions
The AER invites submissions on the application by COB Friday 8 February 2013. Submissions should be made in relation to the applicant’s ability to meet the entry criteria, as prescribed by section 90 of the Retail Law, and set out in the AER’s Retailer authorisation guideline.
