The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has released its final decision on the priorities and objectives of electricity network service provider (NSP) performance reports in accordance with section 8.7.4 of the NER. This is accompanied by the statement of approach, which sets out the AER's response to submissions on the discussion paper released in December 2010. The AER has previously published performance reports on transmission NSPs, and will continue to do so. The AER is now responsible for publishing performance reports on distribution NSPs, starting with the 2009-10 performance of businesses in NSW and the ACT. The AER will also publish the Victorian DNSP performance report in its current form for one further year, covering the period to the end of the previous regulatory control period (2010). Future Victorian DNSP reports will be published with other DNSP performance reports.
