On 25 November 2009, the Australian Competition Tribunal made orders that the AER's April 2009 decision on EnergyAustralia's public lighting services be remitted back to the AER to make the decision again in accordance with its directions.
On 7 January 2010, the AER received a proposal from EnergyAustralia on its public lighting services. The AER has considered the proposal and a submission from SSROC and has made its draft decision.
The AER is required to make its final decision on 15 April 2010.
Invitation for submissions
Interested parties are invited to make written submissions on the draft decision by 4pm on 11 March 2010.

The AER prefers that all written submissions be publicly available to facilitate an informed and transparent consultative process. Submissions will be treated as public documents unless otherwise requested. Parties wishing to submit confidential information are asked to provide both confidential and non-confidential versions of their submission. All non-confidential submissions will be placed on the AER's website.
The AER may, but need not, consider a submission it receives after the consultation period has ended.
