The AER released a draft decision on 27 November 2008 on Transend’s transmission determination for the regulatory control period 1 July 2009 to 30 June 2014.
Under clause 6A.12.3 of Chapter 6A of the NER, Transend may submit a revised revenue proposal, revised negotiating framework and revised pricing methodology to the AER.
The AER has received Transend’s revised revenue proposal and revised pricing methodology which are available on the AER's website. A number of the appendices to the revised revenue proposal have not been published pending resolution of confidentiality issues.
Submissions
Interested parties are reminded they can lodge submissions in response to the AER’s draft decision. Submissions in response to the draft decision need to be sent to the AER by Wednesday 18 February 2009 to:

The AER prefers that all submissions be publicly available to facilitate an informed and transparent consultative process. Submissions will be treated as public documents unless otherwise requested. Parties wishing to submit confidential information are requested to:
- clearly identify the information that is the subject of the confidentiality claim; and
- provide a non-confidential version of the submission
All non-confidential submissions will be placed on the AER's website. The AER will deal with all information it receives in the transmission determination process, including submissions on the draft decision, in accordance with the ACCC/AER information policy. The policy is available at the AER's website.
A copy of Transend’s revenue proposal, proposed negotiating framework, proposed pricing methodology and submissions from interested parties are available on the AER's website.
