On 30 April 2007, GasNet Australia submitted a revised access arrangement for the Victorian Principal Transmission System, for the access arrangement (AA) period 2008-12 to the ACCC under the National Third Party Access Code for Natural Gas Pipelines (the code). On 30 April 2008, the ACCC released a final decision which did not accept a number of GasNet’s revisions as submitted and proposed amendments the ACCC considered necessary before the revised AA can be approved in accordance with the code.
On 30 May 2008, GasNet submitted its amended revised access arrangement and accompanying access arrangement information. GasNet subsequently provided further supporting access arrangement information to the ACCC on 18 June 2008. The ACCC is satisfied that GasNet has directly incorporated or otherwise addressed the reasons for the required amendments set out in the ACCC’s final decision and has therefore approved the amended revised access arrangement. This final approval has now been released.
Copies of GasNet’s revision application, associated documents, amended revised access arrangement and access arrangement information are available from the AER’s website. Copies of the ACCC’s decision documents can also be found on the AER’s website.
