On 5 June 2020, the AER published its final decision for the Queensland electricity distribution provider, Ergon Energy, for the 2020-25 regulatory control period commencing 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2025.
On 31 January 2019, Ergon Energy submitted its revenue proposal to the AER. The proposal sets out the revenue Ergon Energy proposes to collect from its customers through distribution charges from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2025.
Final decision
Following consultation with stakeholders, the AER decided to delay its final 2020-25 network revenue determinations due on 30 April 2020 and released its final decision on 5 June 2020.
Draft decision
On 8 October 2019 we released our draft decision on Ergon Energy's regulatory proposal for the 2020-25 regulatory control period, commencing 1 July 2020. The draft decision represents a key milestone in our determination of the amount of revenue that Ergon Energy can recover from customers who use its network.
Ergon Energy now has the opportunity to consider our draft decision and submit its revised proposal and supporting material by 10 December 2019.
