ActewAGL has not submitted an annual pricing proposal for 2016–17 network charges. This is because in February 2016 the Australian Competition Tribunal set aside the AER’s May 2015 distribution determination decision for ActewAGL.
Instead of a pricing proposal, ActewAGL offered an enforceable undertaking which sets out its network charges from 1 July 2016. On 16 May 2016 the AER formally accepted ActewAGL’s undertaking. The undertaking will expire on 30 June 2017.
ActewAGL’s undertaking will also oblige ActewAGL to continue to provide network services consistent with the non-price terms and conditions of its 2015–19 electricity distribution determination.
