Update
On 12 July 2019, the AER approved a non-material variation to the 2016-21 access arrangement for ACT gas distributor, Evoenergy. Our decision responds to a variation proposal received from Evoenergy on 25 June 2019 relating to changes to the definition of gas day in the National Gas Rules.
Background
The AER is required under the National Gas Rules to review the access arrangement proposal from ActewAGL (ACT, Queanbeyan and Palerang) and to determine a forecast revenue requirement.
On 1 July 2015, ActewAGL submitted its access arrangement proposal and supporting information to the AER. The proposal covers the access arrangement period 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2021 and includes information on proposed capital and operating expenditure for that period. Submissions on ActewAGL's access arrangement proposal closed on 10 August 2015.
On 26 November 2015, we released our draft decision on ActewAGL's access arrangement for the 2016–21 access arrangement period.
On 6 January 2016, ActewAGL submitted its revised proposal for the 2016-21 access arrangement period. Interested stakeholders provided submissions on our draft decision and ActewAGL's revised proposal.
On 15 December 2017 the AER wrote to ActewAGL setting out how it proposed to correct a mathematical error in the inflation calculation in its 26 May 2016 decision.
