On 31 October 2013, the Victorian distribution network service providers proposed annual network tariffs for the twelve months commencing on 1 January 2014. The AER assessed these for compliance against the distribution determination price controls and for whether all energy consumption estimates are reasonable, as required by the National Electricity Rules.
On 4 August 2014, SP AusNet was rebranded as AusNet Services.
