On 10 March 2022 the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Accel Energy Retail Pty Ltd (Accel Energy Retail) for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
Interested stakeholders were invited to make submissions on Accel Energy Retail's application. Consultation on the application closed 12 April 2022. No submissions were received.
On 21 June 2022, Accel Energy Retail withdrew its application for an electricity retailer authorisation.
