On 5 November 2020, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved an electricity retailer authorisation application from GEE Power & Gas Pty Ltd (GEE Power & Gas) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
Background
On 4 September 2020, the AER accepted an application from GEE Power & Gas for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).GEE Power & Gas is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Tuesday 6 October 2020. No submissions were received.
