On 24 February 2020, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved an electricity retailer authorisation application from CleanCo Queensland Limited (CleanCo) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
Background
On 6 December 2019, the AER accepted an application from CleanCo for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). CleanCo is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Friday 10 January 2020. No submissions were received.
