On 17 December 2019, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved an electricity retailer authorisation application from Energy Services Management Pty Ltd (ESM) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
Background
On 5 April 2019, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Energy Services Management Pty Ltd (ESM) for an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). ESM is now authorised to retail electricity as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Tuesday 14 May 2019. No submissions were received.
