On 13 September 2018, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a gas retailer authorisation for Real Utilities Pty Limited (Real Utilities) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
Background
On 27 June 2018, the AER accepted an application from Real Utilities for a gas retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). Real Utilities is now authorised to retail gas as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating jurisdiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Friday 3 August 2018. No submissions were received.
