On 31 May 2021, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) approved a gas retailer authorisation application from Powershop Australia Pty Ltd (Powershop) under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law).
On 5 March 2021, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) accepted an application from Powershop for a gas retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law (Retail Law). Powershop is now authorised to retail gas as and when the Retail Law is adopted in each participating juridiction.
The AER sought submissions from interested stakeholders. Consultation on the application closed on Thursday 8 April 2021. No submissions were received.
