Lochard Energy: failure to submit auction quantity limits to AEMO

Lochard Energy (Iona Operations) Pty Ltd (Lochard Energy) has paid a $20,000 penalty following the issuing of an infringement notice by the AER. The AER issued the infringement notice as it had reasonable grounds to believe Lochard Energy breached Rule 649(1) of the National Gas Rules by failing to submit auction quantity limits for the Iona Compression Facility (ICF) to AEMO on 29 May 2020, 30 May 2020, and 31 May 2020, in accordance with the Part 24 information standard.
