The AER has published its latest quarterly compliance report, which is available from its website.
The report summarises the results of the AER’s compliance monitoring and enforcement activities during the period July-September 2008. It provides an overview of the results of its investigations including special reports into significant market or power system events and the AER's targeted compliance program.
To date, these reports have focussed on the National Electricity Market. As of 1 July 2008, the AER was conferred additional functions and powers under national gas legislation. As such, this report and future reports will also cover gas industry matters.
