The AER has issued the proposed regulatory test version 3 and proposed regulatory test application guidelines for public consultation as required under the National Electricity Rules. Electronic copies of these documents are available from the AER's website.
Interested parties are invited to make written submissions to the AER by 5pm EST on Thursday 6 September 2007. Electronic submissions can be e-mailed to the AER at AERinquiry

The AER prefers that all submissions be in an electronic format and publicly available, to facilitate an informed, transparent and robust consultation process. Accordingly, submissions will be treated as public documents and posted on the AER's website except and unless prior arrangements are made with the AER to treat the submission, or portions of it, as confidential.
Following public consultation the AER will issue a final determination in respect of the regulatory test version 3 and regulatory test application guidelines by early November 2007.
