The AER is required under Chapter 6A of the National Electricity Rules to make transmission determinations for SP AusNet and VENCorp in relation to the Victorian electricity transmission network.
On 1 March 2007 VENCorp submitted its revenue proposal and proposed negotiating framework for the period 1 July 2008 to 30 June 2014 to the AER. VENCorp’s proposed pricing methodology was to be submitted separately, in accordance with the National Electricity Rules, by 31 May 2007.
VENCorp's pricing methodology is now available to interested parties on the AER's internet site.
Interested parties are invited to provide written submissions to the AER by close of business Friday 31 August 2007.

Please note that consultation on VENCorp’s proposed pricing methodology, and the AER's draft and final decisions on VENCorp's pricing methodology, will be considered under a separate process to VENCorp’s revenue proposal and proposed negotiating framework. The AER’s draft decision on VENCorp’s proposed pricing methodology will be released, in accordance with the Rules, on 30 November 2007.
