Alinta Energy and EnergyAustralia: failure to submit accurate market performance data

Alinta Energy Retail Sales Pty Ltd, trading as Alinta Energy, has paid penalties totalling $40 000 following the issue of two infringement notices, and EnergyAustalia Pty Ltd has paid penalties totalling $20 000 following the issue of one infringement notice by the Australian Energy Regulator (AER). The AER alleged that Alinta Energy and EnergyAustralia failed to submit required timely and accurate market performance data to the AER.
