The AER, Energy Consumers Australia and Energy Networks Australia are engaged in a joint initiative to improve sector engagement, and identify opportunities for regulatory innovation. We have called this the New Reg Process. AusNet Services conducted a trial of one approach to the New Reg Process in developing its 2021-26 regulatory proposal submitted to the AER on 31 January 2020. We have committed to engaging regularly with stakeholders at key milestones, and having recently completed the third phase of this trial, have published further reports.
You are invited to a stakeholder workshop where we will present the Monitoring (Farrierswier) and Insights (CEPA) consultant reports from the third phase of AusNet's Trial. During the workshop, we also intend to discuss the challenges of the Trial, as well as through other developments in consumer engagement, in relation to the current regulatory framework. The workshop will be held online via WebEx.
Register to attend
The workshop will be an important part of our live engagement consultation process. It will provide an opportunity for different stakeholders to hear perspectives and ask questions.
