The AER has today published a revised draft Retailer authorisation guideline and consultation paper. The guideline is required under s. 117 of the proposed National Energy Retail Law.
These documents represent the second stage of consultation on the development of the guideline. The consultation paper addresses issues raised in submissions to the first round of consultation, as well as reflecting changes in the Retail Law between the second exposure draft and the version that was introduced into the South Australian Parliament on 27 October 2010.
The AER invites written submissions on the draft guideline by 22 December 2010. Submissions should be sent to AERInquiry
aer [dot] gov [dot] au (AERInquiry[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au). The subject of the email should state 'Submission on Retailer authorisation guideline - attention Ed Mayne'.
