Preliminary positions Framework and approach: SA Power Networks - request for submissions

As required by the National National Electricity Rules (NER), the AER is preparing to undertake the next distribution determination for SA Power Networks (formerly ETSA Utilities). The AER's distribution determination will apply from 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2020.

On 18 December 2013 the AER issued its Preliminary positions paper, Framework and approach for SA Power Networks for the regulatory control period of 1 July 2015 to 30 June 2020.

Invitation for submissions

Interested parties are invited to make written submissions to the AER by COB on Wednesday 19 February 2014.

Submissions should be sent electronically to QLDelectricity2015aer [dot] gov [dot] au (SAelectricity2015[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au). Alternatively, submissions can be mailed to:

The AER prefers that all submissions be sent in an electronic format in Microsoft Word or other text readable document form and be publicly available to facilitate an informed and transparent consultative process. Submissions will be treated as public documents unless otherwise requested. Parties wishing to submit confidential informaton are requested to:

• clearly identify the informaton that is the subject of the confidentiality claim
• provide a non-confidential version of the submission in a form suitable for publications.
• All non-confidential submissions will be placed on the AER's website.

The AER is holding its second forum for consumers/consumer groups and interested stakeholders in the week commencing 20 January 2014.
