On 14 January 2015, the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) granted an individual exemption to Origin Energy Retail No. 2 from the requirement to obtain an electricity retailer authorisation under the National Energy Retail Law.
The AER sought public submissions on the Origin Energy Retail No. 2's application for an individual exemption. Consultation on the application closed on 17 October 2014. One Submission was received.
