The AER prefers that all submissions be in an electronic format and publicly available, to facilitate an informed, transparent and robust consultation process. Accordingly, submissions will be treated as public documents and posted on the AER's website, www.aer.gov.au except and unless prior arrangements are made with the AER to treat the submission, or portions of it, as confidential.
Following public consultation the AER will issue a determination in respect of the draft guidelines on or before 28 September 2007.
Related transmission guidelines
On 31 January 2007, the AER issued the first proposed versions of each of the guidelines, models and schemes for comment. A copy of these first proposed guidelines, models and schemes is available on the AER's website.
The AER is also preparing Pricing Guidelines under the NER which must be developed by 31 October 2007.
Where comments on other transmission guidelines have not been addressed in this guideline, this does not indicate that they have been ignored by the AER. The AER Board is still considering comments received as part of consultation on the transmission guidelines, and will inform stakeholders of its position in due course.
