Earlier this year, the Australian Energy Regulator appointed KPMG and Insync Surveys to conduct an independent review of its Consumer Challenge Panel for 2016-20.
As part of this review process, we would like to survey stakeholders to understand perceptions of, and experience with, the Consumer Challenge Panel since 2016. We would also welcome your views on the types of roles and functions that would see a Consumer Challenge Panel best add value into the future.
The online survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and is due to close on Monday 23 September 2019.
This survey is anonymous. Individual responses will remain confidential and will not be released under any circumstances, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth).
We hope you will be able to participate and thank you for your input into this valuable survey.

Background
- The establishment of the CCP was a key component of the Council of Australian Governments’ energy reform agenda agreed to on 7 December 2012. It was implemented as a part of our Better Regulation reform program, which aimed to deliver an improved regulatory framework focused on the long term interests of consumers.
