The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has extended the time for Ergon Energy to submit an application to pass through costs associated with Severe Tropical Cyclone Yasi.
The AER granted a 40 business day extension under clause 6.6.1(k) of the National Electricity Rules. In this context, the AER considered there was sufficient difficulty in assessing or quantifying the effect of the relevant pass through event. The granting of this extension has no implications for the AER's assessment of the merits of any pass through application.
