On 24 September 2008, Envestra submitted a notice to the AER pursuant to section 8.3B of the National Third Party Access Code for Natural Gas Pipeline Systems (the Code) to increase its reference tariffs due to a Specified Event. The Specified Event relates to a change in impost resulting from Envestra’s 2008/09 licence fees, as set by the South Australian Minister for Energy, remaining above the 2006/07 licence fee amount included in the current Access Arrangement.
The AER is currently assessing Envestra’s application to ensure that it complies with the Approved Reference Tariff Variation Method as provided for in sections 8.3B to 8.3H of the Code.
