The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) today has published its determination on ElectraNet’s network support pass through 2019–20 application.
The AER is required to assess pass through applications for ElectraNet in relation to its network support costs. A network support event occurs when the actual amount of network support payments differs from the forecast amount allowed in the determination. ElectraNet’s pass through application proposed a positive pass through amount of $2,109,838 to account for the difference between actual network support costs and the forecast for 2019–20 included in ElectraNet’s 2018–23 revenue determination.
The AER determined that a positive change event has occurred under the National Electricity Rules and approved a positive pass through amount of $2,107,330 to be recovered from ElectraNet’s transmission network users through an increase in transmission prices in 2021–22.
