The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has released its final decision on the Directlink Joint Venturers' application for conversion to a prescribed service and a maximum allowed revenue.
The AER has determined that Directlink meets the requirements under the National Electricity Rules and should therefore be allowed to convert. Having decided to allow conversion, the AER has established an initial asset value for Directlink and in turn determined the maximum allowed revenues for Directlink's service. The AER's decision draws on consultancy reports, submissions from interested parties and the analysis of data and information presented to the AER during the course of its deliberations.
