The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has received a revised regulatory proposal from AusNet Services, as well as submissions from third party stakeholders on our July 2016 draft decision. The revised proposal and third party submissions have been published on our website.
The revised proposal sets out the revenue AusNet Services proposes to collect from electricity consumers through transmission charges for the five year period 2017–22.
Invitation for submissions
We invite interested parties to respond to AusNet Services' revised proposal by providing us with written submissions. These should be emailed to: AusNetTransmission2017aer [dot] gov [dot] au (AusNetTransmission2017[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au) by close of business 19 October 2016. The AER prefers that all submissions be sent in an electronic format in Microsoft Word or other text readable document form and publicly available, to facilitate an informed, transparent and robust consultation process. Accordingly, submissions will be treated as public documents and posted on the AER's website, unless prior arrangements are made with the AER to treat the submission, or portions of it, as confidential. Those wishing to submit confidential information are requested to:
- clearly identify the information that is the subject of the confidentiality claim; and
- provide a non-confidential version of the submission.
