The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has amended Envestra’s Queensland access arrangement under clause 68 of the National Gas Rules. The amendments relate to the Dinmore tariff zone which had been misdescribed. The AER has replaced the ‘Dinmore zone’ in the previous access arrangement with the ‘Riverview zone’, which more accurately describes the intended boundaries of the zone in question. The amendments took effect on 19 June 2009.
Further detail on the specific amendments made by the AER to the access arrangement and the reasons for these amendments are contained in the AER's decision.
Envestra's Queensland access arrangement was originally approved by the Queensland Competition Authority in 2006. Since 1 July 2008, the AER has been responsible for the administration of the current access arrangement which is scheduled to expire on 30 June 2011.
