The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) is requesting submissions to inform the development of a Transmission Annual Planning Report (TAPR) Guideline.
The TAPR Guideline will support transmission businesses to consistently provide information across the National Electricity Market. This information will complement the TAPR documents published on 30 June each year.The TAPR Guideline follows from the transmission connection and planning arrangements rule determination.
The consultation paper proposes what information transmission businesses should publish to assist interested parties to engage effectively in network planning decisions. We are interested in whether the information we are proposing is clear, sufficiently comprehensive and fit-for purpose.
We invite submissions on the consultation paper by the close of business, 18 May 2018. We prefer stakeholders send submissions electronically to: AERInquiry

We prefer all submissions be publicly available to facilitate an informed and transparent consultation process. We will therefore treat submissions as public documents unless otherwise requested.
We request parties wishing to submit confidential information to:
- clearly identify the information that is subject of the confidentiality claim; and
- provide a non-confidential version of the submission, in addition to a confidential one.
