The AER today released for consultation proposed amendments to its service target performance incentive scheme to apply to electricity distribution networks.
The amendments are designed to address certain issues in version 1.0 of the scheme that the AER has become aware of since its release in June 2008. The AER has also proposed several other amendments to provider greater clarity on how the scheme operates. The amended scheme and an explanatory statement detailing the amendments will be available on the AER's website.
Interested parties may lodge submissions in response to the proposed amendments. Submissions must be sent to the AER by 19 March 2009. Submissions can be sent electronically to: aerinquiryaer [dot] gov [dot] au (aerinquiry[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au).
