The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has published its final Retailer Reliability Obligation (RRO) Opt-in Guideline. This is one of a series of guidelines that the AER has developed to set out how it will exercise its functions under the RRO.
The Guideline sets out the processes eligible large customers must follow to opt-in to liability under the RRO. It includes information about the processes for registering, deregistering or amending registration, and the criteria for assessing opt-in eligibility.
