The Australian Energy Regulatory has published an issues paper on SP AusNet’s revenue proposal for its upcoming 2014–17 regulatory control period.
The issues paper is intended to assist stakeholders prepare their submissions to the AER. It identifies the key issues in SP AusNet’s revenue proposal and poses questions which the AER believes stakeholder submissions should address. Background information is included, such as the AER’s regulatory processes and SP AusNet’s role as the owner and operator of the Victorian transmission network.
Publishing an issues paper is not a requirement under the National Electricity Rules applicable to SP AusNet’s 2014–17 regulatory control period. However, it will be a requirement for future revenue proposals so the AER has decided to publish one on this occasion. To inform future issues papers the AER invites comment on its style, format and content.
