The AER has today approved Ergon Energy’s pricing proposal for their network tariffs to apply from 1 July 2014 to 30 June 2015. Today’s decision implements the price path set out in the Queensland 2010–15 final decision. It is anticipated that an average customer’s bill will increase by approximately 4.0 per cent as a result of this decision. However, there are many factors determining final electricity prices other than network charges.
