The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) will undertake a compliance check of the pricing proposal and proposed network charges submitted by Essential Energy for its New South Wales and southern regional Queensland electricity distribution network. The compliance check will ensure consistency against the National Electricity Rules and Essential Energy’s five-year regulatory revenue determination.
Following this compliance check, we will publish the approved 2024–25 pricing proposal and network charges, including a Statement of Reasons outlining our decision.
