AusNet Services owns and operates Victoria’s electricity transmission network. The NTSC are the criteria AusNet Services must apply when negotiating terms, conditions and prices for negotiated transmission services. It will also be used by an arbitrator in resolving any access dispute about any of the terms and conditions of access.

The AER must make a decision on the NTSC as part of the AusNet Services 2022–27 transmission determination.
