The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) has received a revenue proposal from ElectraNet. ElectraNet runs the South Australian electricity transmission network.

ElectraNet’s proposal is for the five year period commencing on 1 July 2018. The proposal sets out the revenue ElectraNet proposes to collect from SA electricity consumers through transmission charges from 2018 to 2023.

Invitation for submissions

Interested parties are invited to make submissions on the regulatory proposal by the close of business on 7 July 2017. Submissions should be emailed to ElectraNet2018ataer [dot] gov [dot] au (ElectraNet2018[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au).

The AER prefers that all submissions be publicly available to facilitate an informed and transparent consultative process. The AER will treat submissions as public documents unless otherwise requested. Parties wishing to submit confidential information are requested to:

  • clearly identify the information that is the subject of the confidentiality claim
  • provide a non-confidential version of the submission in a form suitable for publication.

Public forum

We are holding a public forum on ElectraNet’s regulatory proposal. The public forum will be held in Adelaide on 7 June 2017. We intend to publish an issues paper on the regulatory proposal prior to the public forum. The issues paper and public forum agenda will be available on our website prior to the public forum.

Interested parties who wish to attend this public forum are encouraged to register by 31 May 2017 by email to ElectraNet2018ataer [dot] gov [dot] au (ElectraNet2018[at]aer[dot]gov[dot]au).
