The AER is calling for submissions from interested parties on whether it is desirable to amend or replace the current Framework and Approach (F&A) papers for:
- Ausgrid (NSW)
- Endeavour Energy (NSW)
- Essential Energy (NSW)
- ActewAGL (ACT)
- TasNetworks electricity distribution (TAS) and
- TasNetworks electricity transmission (TAS)
The next 5 year regulatory control period for these businesses commences on 1 July 2019. Under the NER, each of these businesses is required to submit its regulatory proposal to us by 31 January 2018. Prior to that date, the NER requires us to review the current F&A paper that applies to each business and decide whether to amend or replace it. Submissions close on 2 December 2016. The AER will then prepare its decision on whether to amend or replace any of the current F&A papers that apply to these businesses.
