The Australian Energy Regulator (AER) today released a determination outlining revised 2013 Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) or smart meter charges which will apply to customers of CitiPower, Powercor, Jemena Electricity Networks, SP AusNet and United Energy. These AMI charges will apply for the period 1 January 2013 to 31 December 2013.
The charges have been revised in accordance with the requirements of the regulatory regime that applies to AMI to reflect actual costs incurred by the network businesses.
