On 18 June 2013 the AER approved the Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline, and is subject to a number of conditions.
Applicable conditions for exemption class NR1, NR5 and NR05
The network and retail exemptions are held by different entities in the Vicinity Group.
From 22 November 2019 this registration was held by Perpetual Ltd as custodian of Vicinity NVN Trust / ABN 43 813 342 348
