On 15 December 2015, the AER granted the Applicant(s) an exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the National Electricity Rules. The exemption was granted under clause 2.9.3(b) of the NER. This exemption is based on the registration by AEMO of NSW Electricity Networks Operations Pty Limited as trustee for the NSW Electricity Networks Operations Trust (ABN 70 250 995 390) as an intermediary on behalf of the applicant, pursuant to clause 2.9.3(d) of the NER.
