On 9 July 2013 the AER approved the Applicant’s exemption from the requirement to register as a network service provider and the operation of Chapter 5 of the NER. The exemption was granted under clause 2.5.1 of the NER in accordance with the AER’s Electricity NSP Registration Exemption Guideline, and is subject to a number of conditions.
Applicable conditions for exemption class NR03
Prior to 21 December 2023, Origin Energy Resources Limited / ABN 66 007 845 338 was registered as an additional registrant for this exemption.
The Origin Energy Upstream Operator Pty Ltd / ABN 67 105 423 532 registered as an additional registrant to this exemption. This exemption as it applies to Origin Energy Upstream Operator Pty Ltd takes effect from 21 December 2023.
