This figure shows the closing daily base contract prices in Queensland for the first quarter of 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025. Also shown is the daily volume of Q1 2025 base contracts traded. High volume in May was a result of the conversion of base load options to base future contracts. The shaded area signifies the Q1 period for which the contracts are being purchased. Data as at 12 November 2024.
