This figure shows the closing daily base contract prices in Queensland for the first quarter of 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024. Also shown is the daily volume of Q1 2024 base contracts traded. High volume in May was a result of the conversion of base load options to base future contracts. The shaded area signifies the Q1 period for which the contracts are being purchased. Data as at 17 July 2024.
